Random Radio Rambling
Of course I cleared the interview request with my boss before I granted it. Later, I said to him: “You know, given the subject matter there might be a question about how we came to run the story in the first place. If you’d like, I can tell her about the firm and unwavering support I received from you, my boss,” and he laughed and told me to tell the truth instead.
There’s supposed to be live streaming on this website, but I already asked if I could get an MP3 after the interview and was told yes. I’m supposed to be on at 8:40.

Ooo! Once again I'll hear the velvet-like honey drippin' tones from Jennifer's mouth.
Way cool.

And you don't even have to pay by the minute this time.
Let's see how much libertarian goodness I can inject into the airwaves over Connecticut. And hope I don't come down with hiccups.
You doing deep breathing exercises for warmups? No Hillarytears please ;)
I was on 20 minutes late, because I guess she was having technical difficulties.

Well I still managed to miss it; I forgot that you are on Eastern Time and an hour ahead of me. But truthfully, I didn't think about it much, because I've been trying to follow the flap about Ron Paul all day.
Do you suppose you or someone else might post your interview online somewhere, as you did the last time you were on the radio?
Oh, BTW - belated Happy New Year to you.
I think Jennifer should post the MP3.
I been busy today, and just got off my aerobic trainer. What is the "flap" about RP?

It's more allegations of racism, etc. stemming from old newsletters of his. Go over to Reason's H&R - there are several blog posts and hundreds of comments. Looks pretty serious this time.
At most I figure Paul is guilty of not having looked too carefully at what was going out under his brand name. As one of the Hit and Run writers pointed out, Paul's stance on the drug war alone would do more to improve things for minorities than anything any other candidate has to offer.
I'm hoping I get the MP3 tomorrow, and I know if I do one of my bosses mentioned that they'd like to see about putting it online, if they can kick the bugs out of their multimedia thingy.
I hope the radio DJ didn't forget to make a recording. I dunno how such things work. Anyway, if I get the recording, then even if the Advocate doesn't post it I have a friend who said he'd host it for me.
I stumbled over a couple of words but I think I mostly did all right, and managed to avoid sounding like some paranoid "AAAIGH! We're losing our civil liberties!" type.

Dontcha hate those guys?!

That whole situation is most unfortunate. I don't believe it represents him, but it does cause one to question if that's a valid conclusion or something you just really want to believe based on what he's saying today.
This was a nice tidbit from the local paper here. I was surprised to see it, wish I knew about their gathering and I'd been there. However, the glaring lack of active hair follicles on the top of my head would have probably caused undue reflection towards the camera, so probably for the best I wasn't there.
The DJ's supposed to send me a disc with the recording. And I have friends who said they'd be willing to host it for me online.
