Patriotic Responsimability

Over at Comment is Free: America, I expand upon a theme I've previously addressed here and at the Hartford Advocate concerning American identity theft laws:

Being an American, as I am, entails a truly awesome level of responsibility, not even counting any global-policeman, Pax Americana nonsense, which nobody here takes seriously anyway, except for select government officials and people who make a point of working the American flag into their daily wardrobes.

That was a FANTASTIC article. I work for an ID theft resolution company helping people fix their ID theft issues and I just passed this around the office. It was like a freaking revelation to read. The press in general has a horrible idea of what a pain in the ass ID theft is to resolve. Look at the backlash from the article by Julia Angwin in the WSJ about ID theft being "on the wane".

Awesome stuff you wrote. Keep up the great work.
